Scheduled Maintenance and Upgrade Activities at Waterworld
We’re making good progress on our big maintenance project.
Our next stage includes work on the spa, meaning the spa will be temporarily closed from Wednesday 24 September. We know it’s not ideal, and we genuinely appreciate your understanding as we work to bring the area up to a modern standard.
Here’s what’s still to come in the project:

some finishing touches to the changing areas (e.g. tiles)

the spa, sauna, and steam room improvements
-
a cold plunge pool
-
transitioning from gas to a hybrid heating system to help offset rising energy costs
-
replacement of the 1976 chair lift to the gym area
-
streamlined gate access at customer services
-
repurposing the old circuit training room into a Pilates fitness studio.
