Welcome to the Hamilton Pools website. If you are looking for exercise or recreation the Hamilton pools can cater for you. Twelve months of summer and a world of activities are at your feet!

The Hamilton pools provide quality, safe and affordable fun for the whole family. We offer PoolSafe facilities with many recreational programmes and activities for Hamilton and the wider Waikato community.

The Hamilton pools are proud to be part of the Community Services Department of Hamilton City Council. We are dedicated to promote health, recreation and rehabilitation through swimming and water activities.

PLEASE NOTE: Our 25m children's pool is closed to public week days from 3.00pm-7.00pm due to learn to swim lessons.

Attention Waterworld Patrons:

 We will be upgrading our flooring surface in the following areas:
• 25m pool entrance and concourse
• Toddlers pool
• Mezzanine

This is scheduled to take place over the period:
Sunday 13 May – Wednesday 30 May

New asphalt is to be laid in the following areas:
• The service lane
• Staff carpark
• Main carpark

This is scheduled to take place over the period:
Monday 21 May – Monday 4 June
(Work will be carried out in stages to minimise disruption.)

Monday 21 May - THE HAMILTON MUNICIPAL POOLS IS CLOSED DUE TO MECHANICAL FAILURE.  WE ARE CURRENTLY WAITING FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS AND HOPE TO GET THE POOL UP AND RUNNING AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.

THE FACILITY IS BEING ASSESSED ON A DAILY BASIS.
